Owner, Dustin Waltemeyer has been in the electrical business for over 23 years. Three Wire Electric was founded in 1992
and have been serving the same areas since.
3 generations have been involved in the electrical field. Mr. Waltemeyer's grandfather, John Lovin was the first to start in
the electrical field back in the 1950's, after the end of WWII. He then moved out west to California from Arizona and went
to work for Southern California Edison. Soon after, John wanted to open his own contracting business after being a
contractor for several years and decided to open a business in that field. He opened his first wholesale house business to
supply the needed materials to the electrical contractors in the area.
Years later, John and Doretta Lovin's daughter, Donna married David Waltemeyer. The newlyweds came to California to
start a life in the electrical field. David worked for his Father-In-Law in the wholesale house business for many years. Later,
David went to work in the union as an electrician's apprentice.
David and Donna Waltemeyer's son, Dustin was accepted into the apprenticeship in Orange County, California in 1984.
Their son, Dustin began a career in the electrical field as well while also in the local union for 10 years until 1992. In 1992
he opened his own "one man shop" and Three Wire Electric, Inc. was established.
